CMRA Annual Meeting Presentation

C&D World Magazine

The largest annual meeting ever of the Construction Materials Recycling Association was held March 28th - March 30th, 2010 at the Rio in Las Vegas, Nevada with more than 330 participants. Recent factors, including the growth of green building in the United States, contributed to this success.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) specialist Wayne DeFeo, founder of DeFeo Associates, educated onlookers with his presentation. The presentation consisted of The LEED Process, Source Separation, Success, Problems, How to Make it Work for you and your Clients, Avoiding Confusion and The Contract Process. Wayne DeFeo was accompanied by Brad Guy, Material Reuse, and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council's Materials and Resources TAG.

Next year's meeting will be held at the Paris Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 23, 2011.
